 Mungo - Echuca, Jour 4 |
Depart Mungo 11 am, direction sud pour Robinvale sur la riviere du Murray (lunch stop) et puis nous avons continuer a suivre le course de la riviere vers le sud, pour arriver au Echuca a 5.30 pm

Notre site (sans electricite) pour tente a coute $12 chacun (donc, seulement $36 pout tout de nosu 3) and the advantage of the unpowered area was that those sites were right on the top of the high river bank overlooking the murray river, and even paying the basic rate, we still had access to all the great facilities – floodlit tennis court if we wanted, resort style pool with deck chairs, shade sails and palm trees (Marcha tried it out at 10 pm in the evening, and said it wasn’t too chilly) plus they had one of the best camp kitchens we’d ever seen in a caravan park –next to the pool, an undercover bbq and seating area that led to a kitchen with sliding glass doors, and inside a full size stove, microwave, kettle, fridge, sinks and more – it was just perfect for us, and we could go out and buy ingredients to have a proper dinner.
Thurs: Wake to great morning views of the Murray River, right outside our tent doorway. Packed up the tents and camping gear and drove back into the old township part of Echuca, for a walk past the historic wharf
Depart Echuca 9.45 am, arrive Bendigo 11 am, shopping, dejeuner a Maldon (petite ville historique) then home by the afternoon, fatiguee.
Vendredi: cleaning all the red desert dust out of the car and washing it and all the dead insects off.
